A couple standing close together in silhouette while watching a warm sunset over the horizon.

I’ve walked through centuries without you.
In borrowed names,
beneath skies that never held your stars.
Each life a fading blur,
a restless search for something
my soul had always known.

Now that I’ve found you,
I don’t want to rush the miracle.
Let’s linger at the edge of every sunrise,
trace constellations we may have drawn before,
and teach time how to breathe again.

No finish lines.
No countdowns.
Just your hand in mine,
the universe exhaling around us.

I’ve waited a thousand years
for the way your eyes find mine.
So, this time, love,
I want to move slow with you.

A little music for the moment.
